200-hour Maya Yoga teacher training with Eddie Modestini and Nicki Doane
**One weekend a month from September 2009-June 2010
Westside Yoga Presents the practice of yoga as a dynamic, self-reliant healing system. We draw our core curriculum from the prolific work of yoga pioneer T. Krishnamacharya, and his world-renowned students B.K.S. Iynegar and Sri K. Pattabhi Jois.
We are passionate about providing top-level information and inspiration from several widely acknowledged senior teachers in a safe and supportive atmosphere.
New to California! We are honored to offer regular classes and intensives with Maya Yoga founders Eddie Modestini and Nicki Doane, our resident teacher/directors. We are also offering a traditional Ashtanga Yoga Mysore program with devoted practitioner/teacher John Smith. John is certified to teach Ashtanga Yoga by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois/A.Y.R.I in Mysore, India.
All other teachers at Westside Yoga Studio are trained in the Maya Yoga curriculum. By sincere dedication to their own practices, these teachers have developed an awesome range of teaching styles, and are all trained to work with the varying needs of students. At the studio you will be taking classes directed toward self-discovery, with the deeper aim of self-realization.
Every member of our staff is committed to helping find the yoga that works for you. The studio supports the pursuits of students at all levels, so whether your legs are behind your head or you haven't seen your toes in years, please come visit us soon !
